And, as I said in my original reply, I absolutely believe in paying for Trello. And I don't feel comfortable having them pay for features they don't want just so they can comment on cards or add resources. I'm not going make them pay and I'm not in a place where I can absorb the cost. My concern is for my clients who are using Trello only because I'd like them to. I'm still planning to jump up to business class. I'm not complaining about what I'm willing to pay for the software. I'm a graphic designer and I use Trello to not only track the progress on my own, but often times will use it to collaborate on projects with clients. The scale for my business is so much smaller. In both of those situations I believe your pricing is fair. If I have regular partners I am working with as I manage my business, absolutely it makes sense for per-seat pricing. If these were team members in a single business, absolutely it makes sense for per-seat pricing. And if you want the advanced features then also I think people should pay for that. If you collaborate with them though then I think people should be paying for real collaborators. Then they could see (but not edit) the board and you wouldn’t have to add them to the board. One feature I’d consider is being able to give a private view only url to your clients. You don’t pay for people if they are only on one board.

It is a stellar piece of software that I recommend to just about every stranger I encounter. We are not paying for a business seat so that our trip planning and household management boards remain separate. Plus, in my personal life I share multiple boards with my husband.
But a single board doesn't always work with the projects we're working on. My small business/small non profit clients are not going to pay that much for a tool I wanted them to use and my business cannot carry the cost for them.
At the business level, I cannot share more than one board with the same client without paying/requiring an additional seat. However, I was curious about board sharing and reached out to support. I was all ready to make the jump to business class recently even though it was far more expensive than I feel comfortable spending as a solo. With the Business class you have introduced a few features I have wanted for so long (checklist. You software runs my life and I wanted to support however I could.
